More than web design
It seems that everyone is a web designer these days. The internet has allowed everybody to get their message out there. Unfortunately, a lot of it is ineffective.
Why?
Sometimes people get wrapped up in the Gee Whiz technology: The medium surpasses the message. You've seen the sexy flash sites, with buttons that beep and pictures that float across the screen. Pretty. But what are they trying to say?
Then there are those that play it safe. Their site is merely an electronic brochure. They believe that people will be interested enough to read online.
They don't. Trust me on this one.
For the past 10 years, I have worked as a Business Communicator. From Public Relations to ultimately working for a small Internet Service Provider and Hosting Company. I have experience in what works, which is why I hold certificates in Open Source Programming. The websites I design call for no proprietary code, so they run on any server and are infinitely scaleable.
Unlike most who sell themselves as web designers today, I am also a trained artist.
